| It is my privilege to serve as President of such a dynamic legal body called the Association of Black Women Lawyers. ABWL serves a reservoir of legal discourse, socially conscious community services, as well as professional development and advancement programs. Over our thirty-five year history, through our membership, we have blazed significant judicial trails and served as role models and mentors for generations to come. We love practicing law, collaborating and sharing a plethora of legal interests with our colleagues and demonstrating our passion for law with students in law school, college, high school, junior high school and special law programs throughout the State. As we grow, we encourage other legal minds to join ABWL in making a real difference in the legal community, today, tomorrow and beyond. |
| Sincerely, Katherine Wade President, ABWL |
