| Eboneé N. Hamilton is an associate in the Employment and Labor Department at Gibbons, Del Deo, Dolan, Griffinger & Vecchione, P.C. She focuses her practice on the defense of employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, retaliation, and harassment matters. She has recently published an article entitled, "The New Jersey Appellate Division Addresses Mixed-Motive Discrimination Cases Post Desert Palace and Finds Sufficient Evidence on Plaintiff's LAD Disability Discrimination Claim," which appears in The Employment and Labor Law Alert, March 8, 2006. |
| Ms. Hamilton is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Association of Black Women Lawyers of New Jersey. |
| Prior to joining Gibbons, Ms. Hamilton was an associate at Grotta, Glassman & Hoffman, where she was involved in management-side employment litigation. She has also practiced employment litigation at Genova, Burns & Vernoia, and served as the judicial clerk to the Honorable Arthur N. D’Italia, Assignment Judge (Ret.), Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County. |
| Ms. Hamilton received her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, where she was the Managing Editor of The Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law and published an article, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Overview, Second Annual Review of Gender and Sexuality Law, 2 GEO. J. GENDER & LAW (Summer 2001). While at Georgetown, Ms. Hamilton also represented young people and their families as a student attorney in the Law Center's Family Advocacy Clinic and served as a summer intern in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Civil Division, Washington, D.C. |
| Ms. Hamilton received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Political Science from Syracuse University, where she was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. |
